truthful perceptions: fathers…

True Fathers protect from all enemies, provide for all seasons and immerse themselves in constant prayer as it pertains to all things both good and Godly for their children. True Fathers possess a singleness of mind, a singularity of Soul and elect themselves unto sacred and eternal humility before God for the gift(s) of their children.

As a bachelor, selfishness often rules the day while the night orders recklessness and abandon. An arrogant table of the heart in refusing to allow the Word of God to both wisely rest and rule on top of it. This mindset parlays all monies unto wine, women and song. It cradles the basket of lustful whims through youthful charms and dares eternity to a challenge of longevity, arrogantly believing that he will win.

However, when True Fatherhood arrives waters of maturity divide the seas of wisdom to bring forth a mighty charge of God. The clouds above then pour forth rains of sensibility that strengthens the very marrow of a Real Man’s bones, and portions spiritual boldness into his heart while forever sentencing foolishness back unto it’s demonic realm of ignorance.

A wise Man will instinctively cling to this mark of God’s call, and like an eagle perched high on a mountain will begin to fix his eyes with laser like precision on the fragile and vulnerable future of his vulnerable yet beautiful child.

True Fathers personify responsibility of their children while being an example of pure religious morality for their children. True Fathers by definition rules the appointment of dependability, practices the politics of authoritative leadership, legislates the power of invisible loving discipline and are never voted out of office.

True Fathers take charge when the devil seems large, by rebuking the beast back to the pit of hell from whence he came. A True Father validates his faith through works and never allows his children go either hungry or astray.

Fatherhood transcends race and religions, neutralizes nationalities and bonds wise men to a common cause. True Fathers are soldiers fighting on the front lines of stability, in the trenches of the war of fear for what the future may hold for his children.

He is in the army of many millions, yet impersonates none on this battlefield of singular distinction. Though bombs of indecision, mortars of his child’s sickness and mortal rocket fire target the very essence of his compassionate manhood, his mission is never deterred, declined nor defeated. Whether a world away or tangibly with his child everyday, a True Father is a soldier who is never M.I.A. (missing in action).

I witnessed my Daughter as a baby girl. Precious and adorable, vulnerable and fragile and with my mission clear, my heart always steered itself in eternal vigilance to her cause. The deal was sealed with her first utterance of the word “Daddy”.

I witnessed my Son as a baby boy. Smiling and playful, and always laughing in his cradle. Tiny fists with baby bottle in hand, letting everyone know that he is the Man-child who is a conqueror, a King who will be more than equipped and able to lead.

True Fathers set the positive example of masculine tender love for his children, by virtue of how he treats their Mother. His behavior sets the mental and spiritual template for there perception of a future spouse.

From the daughters perception of a Man always gentle and true, loving and kind, protectively loyal and faithfully devoted unto his Wife, to the son’s positive example of a Man who is never psychologically, verbally, emotionally or physically abusive to his Wife.

Rather, in addition to being a provider, prayer warrior and protector, that he loves his wife as Christ also loves the church and gave himself for it (1).

False fathers plead the perverted fifth on the grounds that they never inseminated anyone. False fathers lust selfishly of themselves before they think of their children. False fathers offend God and there own children who believe in JESUS.

JESUS said, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea”(2).

After years of strife, false fathers do not man up and make amends to their adult children. False fathers make excuses, abide in lies and foolishly believe that they can escape God’s judgment. False fathers do not know what genuine love is.

True Fathers proudly step up and parent a child even if that child is not biologically his. True Fathers always place their children’s needs and well being first. True Fathers hear the Word of God, “Fathers provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”(3).

After years of strife, True Fathers humble themselves and repent, seeking reconciliation and restoration with their adult children. True Fathers take responsibility, work hard, abide in truth and continually bless their children with wisdom, guidance and unconditional grace, mercy and love.

True Fathers know what genuine love is. Which is why they overwhelmingly cherish four words said to them by their children that are more meaningful then any other. Those words are:

truthful perceptions: openness…

OPENNESS…

This day brings wondrous ideas, things, and places into my sphere of energy…

I am not guarded, but guided into a stream of everlasting peace and love for the receiving…

I am not blocked, but blessed to find my soul unlatched to give, unblocked to receive and ever knowing that God is ever before me in this experience…

I do not fear, but faith all things into my existence needed for both my growth and my survival…

For the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, therefore I AM blessed through a provision of unconditional love meeting with a universal supply, to my every need…

truthful perceptions: protection…

Over two thousand years ago the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ has sustained and fed the church, meaning the body of Christ. It has given salvation and provision of mankind for everyone who believes is not saved from the wickedness of who they used to be in the world. Jesus through His love and salvation demonstrates a love of protection that can only be equivalent to highly valuing each of our lives beyond our understanding. We need only to follow him and he will cherish us for all eternity.

This highest form of love is not weakened by a wrongful perception of a strong man. Which quite often in this world being a strong man is wrongly defined as possessing an arsenal of guns, committing violence against your wife, spending time in prison and every other form of machismo portrayed on the movie screen.

The fact is the strongest man who walked the earth practiced the highest form of love that is humanly possible and divinely ordained. It was done for the sake of protecting us both from the world we see, the world we don’t see and most importantly from the consequences of investing in negative energy.

When we accept the love of Christ through being born again, we begin to learn how to love ourselves and our flesh, and not in a way of lust as that word flesh is now commercially used and conventionally understood, but in the biblical sense of our uniquely sensitive yet durable skin covering of the soul.

After being saved by Christ I slowly began to learn how to love my flesh again through organic dieting, regular exercise and developing a disciplined and healthy sleep regimen.

In the eyes of God, once man and woman have made the marital covenant, and he is to love and protect her beyond all things because they are now made whole of one spiritual flesh. “Have you not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they two shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder ~ Matthew 19: 4,5,6…”

truthful perceptions: balance…

SketchGuru_20131107135850

Life requires balance.

The areas of time management are not exempt. As in most things it is the habitual practice of an imbalance that endangers the daily peace of the individual. To find inner balance and its ensuing tangible peace one should affirm the necessity of implementing positive time management within their life’s regimen. It is said, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, yet all play and no work makes him something greatly worse”.

The adage is clear as to the significance of placing priorities of work and leisure rightly divided within one’s life. Yet deeper still is the importance of defining the discipline. There is simply no replacement for the value of work.

I speak not of the regulatory 9 to 5 position most of us pursue and retain in order to pay the bills and keep food on the table. As important as that is, this book’s purpose is to subscribe to the inner architect residing within all Souls who read these words in order to understand the power within your minds eye to both challenge and change your future, for there is no future brighter than the present. We each have a vision of how our lives can, could and should be made better. For all who are living that dreamality (experiencing your dream + living your reality = dreamality) life cannot be a grander place to both work and play.

Yet, for the majority there is no causality for the expression of freedom. Other than a yearning seed of belief through the Word of GOD given every Sunday in church, do the masses experience any true change of their position in life. This is now the time to begin designing the most significant concept of your life and being entrusted to supervise the greatest enterprise you will ever manage. By contrast, the time required to endeavor the power of your imagination is miniscule in comparison to weekly leisurely exploits as trivial as watching television. The need to flip the script has never been greater nor the rewards more relevant to one’s prosperity.

truthful perceptions: time…

Russel-147

A Time To Every Purpose Under The Heaven

Significant to every life is the one factor we each both possess and often find as elusive to grasp within our hands as water. The one attribute distinctive to our survival and most often abused and underestimated to the point of regret and desired reversal in any conversation of reflection upon one’s life. The vital element of constancy in bringing the singular point of synchronicity between the past, present and future synonymous to habitual human behavior, and the temporal mechanics of travel.

Time…

Besides the gift of life itself and the gift of JESUS himself, it is perhaps the greatest gift given by GOD unto humankind to both understand its brevity of nature and consistently value its purpose. Through passions of invincibility and dreams of immortality, it is a gift most undervalued and taken for granted when we are young. Through the succession of trials and tribulations that define our girth of character, the knowledge of life and it’s brevity make time a gift both treasured and overvalued, despised and feared by us in our winter years.

It is the constant to which all music must immortally sway, the eternal ocean for the longevity of a beautifully painted portrait and the executioner to both a dancers skill and they’re gradual diminishing expertise of the same. Time eventually overwhelms the physical prowess of every athlete and out boxes the sweet science of every pugilist from his or her championship title.

Over the ages what billions of Souls through it’s seas have come, and yet billions more into it’s abyss of eternity will eventually enter. With the emblem of an eternity at stake it is no wonder that as time goes by, the older one gets the more inclined he or she is to invoke wisdom into there daily life.

At least that’s the way it should work. Yet, what if it doesn’t happen? The lessons of time are invariably apt to supersede our cognizance to apply the practical wisdom it teaches. Time waits for no one, and we are quickly running out of it.

truthful perceptions: architect…

IMG_3225 copy

Every architect dreams to create the finest and tallest building for the entire world to behold. Every building engineer dreams to unfold the quasar of their imagination after years of dedicated study in school and countless engineering schematics and model diagrams. The one common denominator shared by these persons of creativity the world over is the shared biblical principle of their occupation.

That principle is that you must first have a solid foundation. Regardless to how much money, manpower, city permits, and insurance cost for the massive project it may require, they first started with the geological analysis of the proposed area of land for a solid foundation of their creation.

As the architects and building engineers of our own lives, we too require a precise and self-perceptible analysis conducive to a solid foundation that remains impervious to spiritually violent weather, flexible to extenuating circumstances and immune to human ridicule. One that is secure to both the earthquakes of our wrong choices and obedient to the inner vocal calls to stop the madness of our journey. A solid foundation irrespective of what torrential rains or typhoon floods may lash upon it and will still continue to stand undeterred.

The foundation I speak of is the confidence of the human Spirit in concert with the power of the human Voice believing in our inherent God given ability to succeed over adversity. Separately these entities are dynamic, yet limited in both scope and nature. Thus it is logical to presume that GOD through wisdom created both to harness the strength of each other not simply for the benefit of the body, but rather the whole earthly life of the Soul.

Learn to preach the power of the human spirit, minister the invincibility of our Lord & Savior JESUS Christ and daily practice His message for us to sincerely love one another, as we genuinely love ourselves.

truthful perceptions: impact…

IMG_3502

It is to the expectation of God’s daily delight that we would earnestly seek through sacrifice, devotion and dedication to replicate the mind of JESUS. For in so doing we are of one mind distinctly innate to one core set of values based on the precepts, principles and edicts of His message of love.

Yet, we must allow this love to be seasoned fluently with humility to the edifying of one another through encouragement and support of what goals and talents we each possess for the greater good of the whole. This notion does not call upon us to negate nor deny our own individual abilities, but rather seek to affirm our own God-given inner knowledge that we are neither forgotten nor set aside in God’s eyes.

For His Word say’s that He will never leave us nor forsake us-1 Kings 8:57. This practice of lifting up each other higher than our self is for the benefit of the greater mind of God to unfold the mystery of His Will towards us. By loving our neighbor as we love our self, the ensuing equation is harmony, justice and respect for every one in the community of humanity.

This attitude slowly absorbs us into that spirited mind of Christ we seek. An arrogant mind surveys the landscape seeking what minds it contrives as weaker than its own, in order to indignantly dominate through insidiously demanding, what can you do for me?

Whereas the Christ-centered mind will always endeavor upon what things it must and can do unto others as the servant of God.

Neither sheepishly or in subservience to man but rather, in a dignified contemplation of transforming, that which is evil to make good, that which is abhorrent to make pure, and that which is of none effect to glean enlightenment, in truthful knowledge of their value in order to make a positive impact.

truthful perceptions: vanity…

IMG_3502

Vanity provides only a bandage, never a cure. Any attempt to procure healing from its wings are fleeting for it contains no substance conducive to restoration, no intrinsic remedy to improve, nor any ingredients to mend the heart to procure true forgiveness unto itself.

The absence of vanity leads to the essence of compassion, which is the inheritance and importation of wisdom. No man cometh unto the Father, but through JESUS. For the heart of Christ cannot go against itself and in this manner truly sifts and searches the human heart coming unto God for humility and the absence of pride and vanity necessary to be in the presence of God.

Vanity in the human heart has paved the way for countless souls to create the very hell of their day-to-day reality. Much worse to those who never learned the lesson of obedience before going to their graves or were prematurely brought there resulting from the very vanity that plagued their lives.

In studying the Heart of Christ we see that JESUS neither displayed nor possessed one iota of vanity, but instead frequently taught about the dangers of both riches and idolatry, summarily contradicting the plethora of prosperity preachers on the scene today.

Pursuing the heart of Christ reveals the true riches God would have us to abide in and rely upon. The wealth of a rich man is his strong city, yet it is the meek which shall inherit the Earth. Cities fall and eventually crumble to dust, but the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. The things of vanity may thrive for the temporary things of glory, but possessing the heart of Christ leads to a peace that passes all understanding.

truthful perceptions: time

Russel-147

In times of prosperity, be cautious; In adversity, be patient; In love, be honest; In popularity, be humble; In having authority, be wise.

In times of community, be joyful; In spirituality, be grateful; In war, be peaceful and in peace, be prepared for war.

In times of sadness, be prayerful; In fear, be faithful and in times of darkness, to always be the light.

In times of injustice, be righteousness; In life, to live in moderation and always increase learning; for all wish to live long, but none wish to be called old and unlearned.

In times of despair, be hopeful; In friendship, to be a good listener; In plenty, be charitable and in lean times, hold on.

In times of confusion, be understanding and in times of misunderstanding, strive to be the voice of reason, restoration and reconciliation.

In times of reflection, always take time to determine the value of your freedom.

To render expected happiness in your accomplishments, but to employ a much deeper knowledge to understand what you’ve learned about yourself while in pursuit of your goals.

This will always be your greatest teacher; It is the joy of the journey for your life and all done, through the anointed breath of time.

truthful perceptions: light

IMG_0011 copy

The wise Man draws more advantage from his enemies, than a fool from his friends; As light is the contrast to darkness, so in life will come the envy of friends and the hatred of enemies; Being caught between these two fires is never good, yet we look to the Christ within as the active instrument of all peace, forgiveness and reconciliation; The same creative force who set the symphony of the universe in motion, grows the bones of a child in the womb and decrees the boundaries for every Sea; This infinite intelligence daily affirms our Spirit to know and declare – If GOD Be For Us, Then Who Can Be Against Us; Love Always & Keep Looking Up.
